Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 – Preamble
These terms are entered into between, on the one hand, Atelier de la Cosarde, registered office at 31 bis, rue de la Cosarde – 94240 L’Haÿ-les-Roses, France, and, on the other hand, any person wishing to make a purchase through the website https://atelierdelacosarde.com.

Orders are shipped within mainland France only. For any request for international delivery, please contact me directly.

The parties agree that their relationship will be governed exclusively by these online terms and conditions of sale, to the exclusion of any other conditions available on the website.

The customer declares having read and accepted the provisions below before placing an order. By validating a purchase through the site, the customer expressly and irrevocably accepts the following terms.

The customer also declares that they have the legal capacity to enter into this contract, i.e., being of legal age and not subject to guardianship or curatorship.

Article 2 – Characteristics of Goods Sold
All pieces are unique and handmade. Slight variations in shape, color, or dimensions may exist compared to the models shown in photos, which give each creation its unique character.

Article 3 – Order and Acceptance
The customer may place an order online.
An order can only be registered if the customer has clearly identified themselves.

The order becomes binding once the customer receives a confirmation email. This confirmation marks the date of conclusion of the sales contract and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

As proof, Atelier de la Cosarde will retain the customer’s full details.

Article 4 – Prices
Prices are indicated in euros, excluding tax.
Legal notice: “VAT not applicable – Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.”

Article 5 – Payment and Security
Purchases are paid online at the time of order, by credit card via Shopify’s secure payment service.
Payment is due immediately and only in euros.

Article 6 – Delivery
Once confirmed, the order is shipped to the address provided by the customer.

Average delivery times: 3 to 10 business days for mainland France. These timeframes are indicative only. If delivery exceeds 30 days, the customer may request cancellation of the order and obtain a refund.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport risks are transferred to the customer once the parcel is handed over to the carrier.

  • Atelier de la Cosarde cannot be held responsible for loss, misplacement, or theft of the order by the carrier.

  • In the event of damage noted upon delivery, the customer must file a detailed claim with the carrier within 3 days (recommended timeframe).

Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal and Returns
In accordance with current legal provisions (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code), the customer has 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay penalties.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision by email to atelierdelacosarde@gmail.com, specifying their order number and the items concerned.

Return conditions:

  • Products must be returned in perfect condition, in their original packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days maximum after receipt of the returned items.

⚠️ Exception: In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order or customized goods.

Article 8 – Personal Data Protection
Personal information collected during the order process is necessary for processing and shipping.

Atelier de la Cosarde is committed to respecting the confidentiality of customer data and processing it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data is used only for purposes related to order management and the commercial relationship.
It is never shared with third parties without the customer’s consent.

The customer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data, which can be exercised by sending a request by email to: atelierdelacosarde@gmail.com.

Acknowledgements
All pieces offered are handmade, with care and patience, in my workshop.

As an independent artisan, I want every customer to be fully satisfied with their order.
